Angelina Jolie may be playing dirty in the custody war between her & Brad Pitt, but Brad is definitely playing smart! A new report even claims he’s not taking ANY chances when it comes to protecting himself against Angie, which is why he’s insisting a monitor witness every visit he has with their kids. That way there’s no doubt that they’re safe with him!
It had been three long weeks since Brad Pitt, 52, had last seen his kids before finally reuniting with them recently, according to InTouch magazine. And during that visit, which was allegedly held under the watchful eye of a Department of Children and Family Services monitor, Brad promised his and Angelina Jolie‘s, 41, kids that it wouldn’t be long before he’d be reunited with them again “permanently.”
And part of his plan to ensure that happens? He’s allegedly after full physical custody of all six of their children: son Maddox Chivan, 15; son Pax Thien, 12; daughter Zahara Marley, 11; daughter Shiloh Nouvel, 10; and twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, 8. But in order to make that happen, Brad has to be tactful, according to the magazine’s insiders. He has to make SURE Angie can’t use anything against him, which is why he wants all of his visits to be monitored.
Days after his emotional reunion with their kids, DCFS reportedly said that they didn’t need to be present at his next visit since no concerns have arisen. However, Brad reportedly insisted that they continue sending over a monitor. “He wants it that way so that there is absolutely no doubt that the kids are perfectly safe with him.” Pretty genius, right? He wants to ensure someone can vouch for him if it comes to it!
As as refresher, following an anonymous call claiming Brad was physically abusive to his children during a Sept. 14 private airplane flight, the DCFS launched an investigation into the actor. But due to lack of evidence against him, Brad will reportedly NOT be prosecuted for the alleged child abuse charges, according to TMZ. And according to InTouch‘s insiders, the kids were super excited to finally be seeing their dad again.
“Brad told them this situation with the social workers absolutely wasn’t their fault and that no one was in trouble,” the source explained. “The visit was gut-wrenching: Vivienne and Zahara both started crying, asking when they could go home.” And by “home,” they apparently met Brad’s compound in LA’s Los Feliz neighborhood. Brad will reportedly be fighting super hard against Angie in court and is prepared to pull out all the stops.
“While Angie’s camp has continued to spread lies about him and make him sound like a monster and an unfit parent, he’s refused to go dirty on her in the media,” the insider revealed to the publication. “But in front of a judge, it will be another story. Brad has compiled a complete dossier on Angelina of the serious mental health issues she has dealt with other the years. He is saving all of the pertinent and necessary information for the battle in court, where it matters.”
