EXCLUSIVE: Marion Cotillard on Meeting Brad Pitt While Filming 'Allied': 'He's Such a Good Man'

Brad Pitt has yet another fan in Hollywood!

Marion Cotillard gushed over her Allied co-star to ET's Cameron Mathison at a Los Angeles junket for the film on Friday.

"[Brad is] such a good man," the 41-year-old actress said. "Of course he's an amazing actor. He's such a good person that it's really not difficult to get along with him."

Cotillard first met Pitt during rehearsals for the World War II thriller. Their chemistry was clear from the first trailer released, but she admitted that it's not something that comes easy with every co-star. "Sometimes, you never know," she explained. "Sometimes, you have nothing in common, no chemistry, and it still works on screen. You have many different situations, but we had this chance to have this period of time to get along together, so it helps."

The French actress did confess to strong nerves when she's about to shoot a new film, and working with the Oscar winner on Allied, out Nov. 23, was no exception. "I'm always super nervous, because I'm like, 'Oh, my God, if my reading is really bad, what are they going to think?'" she admitted.

"It's a new beginning each time, like a love story. You're in love with someone, and you spend 10 years together, and the relationship ends," she continued. "The next relationship, [in] the beginning, you will be like a newcomer in the love story world. So with the character, it's exactly the same."

While Pitt, 52, has addressed his struggles in taking on a French accent for the role, Cotillard said he did an "amazing job." "I know how hard it is to learn another language," she said. "I had to go from French to English and still struggle with some sounds sometimes, but I was very impressed [with his commitment to work on] his French."

Despite their on and off-screen chemistry, Cotillard has been quick to refute rumors that she caused the recent split between Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Rather, she is happily expecting her second child with longtime partner Giullaume Canet. She told ET that her 5-year-old son, Marcel, is thrilled to become an older brother. "He's very happy," the actress said.

Cotillard announced the pregnancy in September in her "first and only reaction" to Pitt's divorce news.
