Angie is rumored to have numerous mental breakdowns and threaten to kill herself and the kids if Pitt tried to leave.

It absolutely amazes me that she is carrying on with this sort of character attack and manipulation. I get that Pitt probably thinks that he is doing the best for his kids by trying to handle this situation in the least antagonistic way possible, but given that Angelina Jolie is doing the exact opposite and appears to have no qualms whatsoever about using their kids to get what she wants, I think he needs to face the reality of the situation and put a stop to it all. If that means he goes through the courts and holds her responsible for her behavior and for attempting to estrange him from his children, then so be it. Maybe he doesn't fully understand that those kids are being damaged and manipulated more every second she has access to them.

Are you daft? She has temporary custody per the PRIVATE AGREEMENT drawn up by HER ATTORNEYS which he signed and which unsurprisingly heavily favored her, NOT by a judge's order as you claimed. Pitt repeatedly tried to challenge/modify the agreement when the DCFS/FBI investigations cleared him of Jolie's false accusations of abuse. Jolie retaliated by publicly filing the private agreement with the court, contra to its confidentiality clause, and the clause which stated it should only be filed with the court in the event one party to the agreement failed to meet its conditions and the court was needed to enforce the terms. (Pitt hadn't broken any aspect of the terms agreement)
In other words, JOLIE broke the terms of the PRIVATE AGREEMENT by filing it with the court at all while claiming HE broke the terms. Hmm, rather gives an insight into her methods.
I think you are spot-on. I think Angie knew how much Brad wanted kids and a family and used Maddox to take advantage of that. Maddox is most likely going to grow up with a lot of guilt over this situation, thinking that it's his fault his parents got divorced, when all the blame belongs on Angelina. I don't know why Angie even thinks she could handle sole custody. 6 kids? It's clear to everyone that she can hardly take care of herself, let alone 6 kids on her own. She's gonna need an entire team of nannies. Not to say that Brad might not use a few nannies, but he's at least stable and healthy and able to provide the kids a better home situation.
The reason AngeliNuts wants sole custody is because she wants to move to London, and she legally can't do that unless she has full custody. THAT'S why she's using the abuse allegations against him.
Yeah, I just commented about that actually, she has plans across the pond and being married to him is keeping her from those plans. She doesn't want to give up control of her kids or have to share custody with him, so abuse was absolutely her way of making a clean break from him so she could move on and follow her dreams. Men are expendable to her, even if they are the father of her children and her partner for 12 years.
And he has a large, loving family who I am sure would be thrilled to see more of the kids and even be glad to help with their care.
Exactly. I'm sure Brad's parents would absolutely love to play a bigger role in their grandchildren's lives, and they have a stable and healthy family history. Hopefully that point alone holds some merit in the court. It's pretty clear that the only family Angelina has to help support the kids, is her brother, who she made out with on the red carpet. Talk about dysfunctional. Jon Voight could help, but the chances of Angie letting him help are abysmal.
