It appears the single life looks good on Brad Pitt.

The 53-year-old actor was snapped heading to a studio in Los Angeles on Monday, looking slim in jeans, a black blazer, a hoodie and a scarf. Pitt, sporting a chic pair of glasses, braved the rain sans umbrella.

Pitt's outing comes after news that his estranged ex, Angelina Jolie, landed a new gig as the face of French beauty brand Guerlain's new perfume, Mon Guerlain. The perfume's scent is inspired by 41-year-old Jolie herself, and she's donating her entire salary from the campaign to charity. The fragrance is set to debut in March.

Jolie and Pitt split in September, and after engaging in an intense custody battle over their six children, appear to currently be on the same page. The two put on a united front earlier this month by releasing their first joint statement amid their divorce, in which they agreed to keep all court documents confidential, and shared that they're now engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions.

Meanwhile, Kate Hudson's brother, Oliver Hudson, recently hilariously mocked tabloid rumors earlier this week that the 37-year-old Almost Famous actress has struck up a romance with Pitt -- despite Hudson and Pitt not being photographed hanging out or spending time together.

Brad Pitt's first post-split 'interview'

Brad Pitt returns to the red carpet Wednesday for an event for his new film, "Allied," in Los Angeles.

(CNN)Brad Pitt appears to be fully back.

The star has been mostly MIA since his announced split from wife Angelina Jolie in September.
On Tuesday he made an appearance in Los Angeles at a screening for the film "Moonlight" and Wednesday attended an event for his new film, "Allied."

Pitt signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans as he walked the red carpet.

A Facebook Live of the event on the movie's Facebook page featured a brief interview with Pitt as he made his way down the carpet.

"It's really sweet, everyone's been very kind out here," Pitt said. "It's nice to have the support."

The film features Pitt and Marion Cotillard as an intelligence officer in North Africa and female French Resistance fighter who fall in love after meeting while on a dangerous mission.

Pitt said the story is based on members of screenwriter Steven Knight's family. The actor and the writer met when Pitt was working on "World War Z."

For the film, Pitt said he struggled to learn French, his co-star's native language.
"According to Marion, not so good," he said about his linguistic skills. "I say I'm going to get this language, but it may take a lifetime.

The movie premiere occurred the same day Pitt was cleared of any wrongdoing in a child abuse investigation regarding an alleged incident involving one of his six children with Jolie.

"Allied" is set to open in theaters November 23.

Brad Pitt smiled for photographers and signed autographs during his first red carpet event since his split from Angelina Jolie in September.

Pitt attended a fan screening of his new World War II thriller, Allied, at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, where he walked the red carpet, sans wedding ring, looking happy and healthy in a crisp, black suit jacket with a white button down and no tie.

The 52-year-old star also stopped for a Facebook Live interview, streamed on the Allied Facebook page, where he opened up about appearing in the action-packed film, which is modeled visually on the style of classic Hollywood films, and which iconic Tinseltown star inspired his character the most.

"I found myself watching a lot of Joseph Cotton," said Pitt, referring to the iconic leading man of the 1940s, who starred in the post-World War II noir drama The Third Man and the legendary Citizen Kane.

Pitt’s co-star, Marion Cotillard, also walked the red carpet at the fan event, and had an equally iconic source of inspiration: four-time Oscar nominee Greta Garbo.

However, the 41-year-old French actress also credited Hollywood royalty like Ingrid Bergman, Katherine Hepburn and Audrey Hepburn, calling them "amazing, strong powerful women [who were] also very sensitive and [who gave] amazing performances."

Cotillard rocked her baby bump while smiling for her fans, wearing a chic, flowing dark blue sleeveless gown. The actress and her longtime partner, French filmmaker Guillaume Canet, announced they were expecting their second child in September.

The co-stars also posed for photos together outside the screening, and were the epitome of stoic Hollywood poise.

While this was Pitt's first red carpet appearance since Jolie filed for divorce, the star stepped out for a private screening of the acclaimed drama Moonlight, alongside his pal Julia Roberts, on Monday.

In a Facebook Live feed from the event for the World War II movie, which also stars Marion Cotillard, the 51-year-old actor could be seen grinning and chatting with fans as he posed for selfies and signed movie posters.

Pitt wore a black suit and white shirt as he made his way to the stage for a brief interview about the period drama.

Asked if his hand was hurting after signing all those autographs, the Ocean's Eleven star said, "No, it's really sweet. Everyone's been really kind out here. It's really nice to have the support. It's great."

On Tuesday, the actor attended a private screening of Moonlight in Los Angeles, where he was joined by longtime pal and Ocean’s costar Julia Roberts. Pitt’s production company, Plan B, partnered with A24 to produce the coming-of-age drama about a gay, African-American boy, and the film has been earning Oscar buzz.

Pitt is expected to make his first red carpet appearance at the premiere of his new film Allied on Wednesday night.

Brad Pitt Spotted for the First Time Following Angelina Jolie Divorce

Brad Pitt has stepped out in public for the first time following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

The actor attended a private screening of the upcoming and highly-acclaimed film Moonlight, for which his production company, Plan B, is listed as one of the executive producers. The event was held in Los Angeles, and he was joined by close pal, Julia Roberts. The pair hugged and smiled for several photos before the event.

The outing marks the first time Pitt has been photographed following the announcement of his divorce from Jolie in September.

Brad looks wonderful. It is so good to see him. Brad, you are loved. You are a good man, a good father. We all know that. Fight for your rights. Nobody believes the lies about you. Get out there and live your life. Somehow, the right things will happen.

Brad does look great! I hope he reaches out to friends and family to feel the love everyone is sending his way! Poor guy. I'm sure they have not reached a permanent agreement. Angie's camp (by Angie's camp, I mean Angie) are pathetic. No way Pitt deserves to lose his children. Absolutely no way. Hopefully his A-list friends rally around to support him and just as many rally around to out Angie on all of the eccentric, crazy selfish behavior she has exhibited for years. Seriously never watching anything with her in it again. Good luck at the box office lady. Glad you're smiling Brad!

Brad looks great. It is nice to see him smiling. Moonlight is a fine film. They did not reach a custody agreement. It is her camp spinning the situation around. The current living situation is the same until the judge makes a ruling on custody. His filing on joint custody has remained the same.

Since news of his split from Angelina Jolie surfaced back in September, Brad Pitt has stayed almost completely out of the public eye. But he reemerged for the first time in two months at a Los Angeles screening of a film that is gaining a lot of Oscar buzz—none other than Moonlight.

While most of the country was in an Election Day frenzy, her watched the film with longtime friend and Ocean's Eleven co-star Julia Roberts. Pitt had a hand in Moonlight, as his production company, Plan B co-partnered with studio A24 to produce the movie. Roberts co-hosted the private screening alongside the actor.

Tuesday's outing won't be Pitt's last appearance of the week: He's set to take to the red carpet for the premiere of his film Allied tonight.
