Brad Pitt Steps Out Amid Reports He's Seeing His Kids More

Brad Pitt's future is looking bright!

The 53-year-old actor stepped out in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday, appearing to be in high spirits amid reports that he's seeing his six children on a more regular basis.

The Allied star sported an all-black ensemble for his midday outing, complete with a cozy black scarf and cool shades.

Pitt's positive outlook seems to be a result of spending more time with his kids, a source tells People.

The actor initially agreed to weekly supervised visits with his and Angelina Jolie's six kids -- Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 -- after the couple's split. However, People's source says that things have since cooled down and Pitt "can spend more time with them."

On Jan. 9, Pitt and Jolie released a joint statement revealing that they were working with a private judge on their divorce case, and stated that they were "committed to act as a united front" moving forward.

"He seems much happier," People's source continued. "He has missed his kids terribly. The kids are his whole world. It's all he cares about."

"Brad is willing to work with Angie so they can have peace for the kids," the source stated. "What it ultimately comes down to is that he just wants to be with the kids."

He's been embroiled in a nasty custody battle for his six children with his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie.

But Brad Pitt's mind is always on his kids and he didn't forget them when he held a private party at Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, last Wednesday.

The 53-year-old actor left with a big bunch of helium-filled gold and white balloons for them that bobbed in the air as his assistants tried to get them into the back of his SUV.

At 15, son Maddox may be a bit old for balloons. But son Pax, 13, daughters Zahara, 11, and Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins son Knox and daughter Vivienne will likely enjoy them,

The celebrity's assistants were also spotted carrying a few bottles of bubbly and wine to his car before he drove away.

'Brad had an intimate party in one of the rooms,' a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. 'He spent the night at the hotel and left in the morning with a big gold and white balloon arrangement that he wanted to take home for his kids.

'They brought out a few bottles of red wine and Perrier-Jouet champagne and loaded it into Brad’s car in the morning as he was leaving,' the source added. 'He was very private and exited out the side door of the hotel.'

After largely laying low since Angelina, 41, filed for divorce on September 19, the Fight Club star has slowly started to go out agaain. And he's taking better care of himself

'He’s exercising,' a close Brad source previously told Us Weekly. 'He’s been outdoors a lot, hiking and walking. He’s had a lot of time to focus on himself.'

Another insider added: 'He does a lot of weight training. He’s dedicated to clean living and eating right.'

The private party comes following Brad's surprise appearance at a charity event in Malibu with Sting and Chris Cornell on January 14.

He was also among presenters at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on January 8.

Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina recently came to an agreement to handle their divorce out of the spotlight by using a private judge.

She filed for divorce in September after two years of marriage and 12 years together. They became close while filming 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
