Ever wondered what Brad Pitt's hair smells like?
Well, the answer's "like unicorns," if you believe Australian star Rebel Wilson.
The How To Be Single actress gleaned this vital snippet of information at the recent SAG Awards in Los Angeles. Yet it wasn't on purpose: truth is Wilson was so starstruck by Pitt she literally didn't know what else to do.
"I was too nervous to say anything so I just smelled his hair," Wilson said during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show. "You're really packed in like sardines and everywhere you turn there is someone mega famous and you don't know what to do so you smell their hair."
Amazingly, Pitt isn't the only Hollywood star to have fallen foul of Wilson's follicular obsession either, as she had a similarly bizarre encounter with Nicholas Cage on the set of Ghost Rider.
"I was told, 'What ever you do don't look him in the eye and don't speak to him unless you're spoken to,' " said Wilson.
"You'd think it was a myth but I was actually told that. I, of course, broke all the rules. He came up to me and I said, 'Wow, you look really good,' and touched his hair and realized it was a wig.
"He was really angry! That was my first Hollywood experience," she said.
Thankfully, the actress put this minor hiccup behind her and is busy forging a hugely successful Hollywood career of her own. Yet that doesn't mean the past still isn't able to catch up her up.
Wilson recently revealed her first headshot as an actress on Late Night with Seth Meyers, joking that she had "feral hair."
"Looking at that headshot, would you think that girl would get hired?" she added.

Rebel Wilson Admits She Came on a Little Strong When She "Hugged" Brad Pitt for the First Time—Watch!

Can anyone blame Rebel Wilson for coming on a little strong?
While promoting Universal Pictures' Pitch Perfect 2 on Live! With Kelly and MichaelTuesday, the 29-year-old Australian actress revealed she was recently "sitting next to Brad Pitt" during "a table read for Sacha Baron Cohen's new movie."
During the table read, Wilson learned that Pitt's 39-year-old wife Angelina Jolie, plus their children—13-year-old Maddox Jolie Pitt, 11-year-old Pax Jolie-Pitt, 9-year-old Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 8-year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, and 6-year-old twins Knox Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt—are fans of 2012's Pitch Perfect.
"Brad Pitt then got some other movie offers, so he couldn't do it. I was sitting next to Brad Pitt and he's like, 'Uh, I've seen your movie like 20 times. My kids love it.' And he said, 'Angelina watches it as well.'"
Meeting the 51-year-old movie star was a surreal experience for Wilson. "I couldn't even believe he was talking to me, let alone seen me do comedy," she said.
Before the table read ended and they went their separate ways, Wilson made her affections known. "I just kind of hugged him and for a really long extended time, to the point where he's kind of moving back. When do you get that opportunity?"
"No!" Kelly Ripa said. "Never!"
Meanwhile, the actress also joked that she disapproves of Princess Charlotte's name. "I thought Wills and Kate were going to call their baby girl Rebel. I just thought it would've been really kickass for a princess. I think they went with something different, but I mean, it's OK," Wilson shrugged. "I'm joking!"
"I've met a lot of princes—Nigerian princes—like, online," she joked.
"Did you send them any money?" Michael Strahan said with a laugh.
"I haven't actually met any of the British royal family, but I do know that [Prince William] and [Kate Middleton] requested a screening of the first Pitch Perfect," Wilson revealed. "Hopefully they'll watch the second one, too!"
