What I particularly dislike about this case is the fact that a dispute with Maddox and Brad allegedly caused the divorce. How could any parent lay the blame of a divorce on an altercation with a child? How will the child and the other children feel and can you imagine the amount of blame the poor child is going to be subject to for causing his parent's divorce. Totally selfish and unfair.

So long as either parents hasn't abused the kids the best possible settlement is always shared custody. Jolie has totally misjudged the public but also Hollywood! Remember the Sony email breach? At some point the studio he's contracted with and other actors will come out against Jolie even to leak stories of her craziness because they have too much tied up into Brad productions. He produces other people movies and if you think other people will sit back and let her ruin him in turn ruin their production you're crazy! Right now he is keeping them at bay but the gloves will have to come off at some point.

Hi virtual friends, there is no point of getting angry with Angelina. She really needs a psychiatrist. Look at Borderline Personality Disorder description. It fits as a glove to Angelina's behavior. First, Jolie only fronts like she got everything she wanted in the temporary divorce deal. The voluntary drug and alcohol testing seems like it's for Pitt's protection more than anything. His "problems" can't be that deeply rooted if he could qualify for unsupervised visits after a single assessment by a therapist. And it's bizarre that she didn't ask for full legal custody, thus trusting an addict to be of sound enough mind to help her make education and health care decisions regarding their kids.
Jolie seems desperate to paint Pitt as dangerous and unfit so she can snag long-term physical custody of their kids before she begins her teaching stint in the UK. If she succeeds, it would not be surprising if she uses the Hague Convention to keep Pitt out of the picture.

Why is this "genius" as the lead in says?  It implies that AJ lied, using a child as a pawn, which is definitely not cool.  It's not the parent that decides to prosecute for child abuse or not anyway, it's the State.  Most states do not prohibit corporal punishment anyway, it's a matter of whether it reaches the level of physical abuse - a slap would probably not do it.  Not that anyone should be hitting any kid, but that's how it is.
