A mother of six boys who had a deafening reaction when she found out she was having a girl back in April has given birth and had the pleasure of introducing the newborn to her doting sons.
The Deseret News reports that Cher and Stephen Lair welcomed their seventh child Ruby Jane on August 26 at WakeMed Cary Hospital in North Carolina.
Ruby's parents posted a video to YouTube of her brothers' hilarious reaction to having a new sister.
'She's so small. I didn't even think babies were this little, ' exclaims 13-year-old Jackson in the video.

Loves his new sister: 'This is Ruby and I love her,' says four-year-old Shepard who later plants a sweet kiss on Ruby's cheek. He later says that she's far cuter than he thought she would be

Her two-year-old brother Knox does not speak but tenderly kisses his sister's cheek.
Ruby's 10-year-old bother Campbell tells the camera, 'I'm excited that she's here but I'm scared because it's a girl.'
Ruby's seven-year-old brother Sawyer says that his sister 'is a precious as a Ruby' and adds that if anyone ever tries to harm her he will join the police force and put away the perpetrator for 1,000 years.
Houston , 5, says he is afraid that his sister will one day have paintbrush she will use to paint their house pink.
'I don't like pink because it's a girl's color,' he says.
The video then zooms on Campbell once again who says that he is going to be her sister's protector, adding that when she grows up and has a boyfriend that he'll have to go through them before he can take their sister out on a date.

When Roby's mom found out she was having a girl in April after her seventh time trying she gave quite the reaction.
She did not know the sex of her baby and gave the scan results to a baker.
As she lifts up a slice of pink sponge, she can hardly believe her eyes and proceeds to scream out in excitement.

After falling back in surprise, she then gets down on her knees repeatedly panting : 'Oh my God.'
Bystanders can be heard cheering and clapping in the background as they watch the scene unfold.
Lair told WTVD-TV that she and her husband, Stephen, had given up on ever having a daughter.
'Initially, on baby three and four I'm thinking, "They'll be a girl at some point. They can't all be boys."
'But after four and five and six, you're kind of thinking, "Yeah, they can,"' she said.

A friend, who was told the child's sex, chipped in to bake the pink-colored chocolate cake.
Lair in April said that she was nervous about a girl entering such a 'boy house' but she's excited to doing 'mommy -daughter' things.
'I want to . . . take her to Cinderella, for pedicures and manicures, and shop for a prom dress,' she added.
To date the video of Lair's gender reveal reaction has been watched more than 8 million times with many viewers giving it the thumbs up.
One commenter wrote: 'That is an awesome video.
'This little girl is going to be so lucky to have six big brothers to look after her...congrats! '
